New study: can a Gravity-Defying treadmill beat supplements for knee arthritis?

NCT ID NCT07399743

First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at two different ways to help overweight women with knee osteoarthritis feel better and move easier. One method uses a special treadmill that takes weight off the knees, while the other uses dietary supplements (alpha lipoic acid and omega-3s). The goal is to see which approach works better for reducing pain and improving daily function. About 160 women aged 20-45 with mild to moderate knee arthritis will take part.
