First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests if people with knee osteoarthritis can learn to change how they use a calf muscle while walking to reduce stress on the knee. Participants get gentle buzzes as feedback after each step to help them adjust. The goal is to see if this new walking pattern can lower knee joint forces and possibly ease symptoms.
