First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a program that strengthens the quadriceps and calf muscles can improve walking, reduce pain, and enhance sleep in people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will enroll 52 adults aged 40-60 with moderate knee arthritis. Participants will be split into two groups: one doing the strengthening exercises and a control group. The goal is to see if these exercises offer real, practical benefits for daily life.
