Scientists test which knee implant holds tightest
NCT ID NCT04358601
Summary
This study aims to see if a newer, all-plastic knee implant part stays in place as well as a traditional metal-backed part over two years. It involves 60 people with severe knee osteoarthritis who are getting a total knee replacement. Researchers will use special X-ray scans to measure tiny movements of the implant and see how patients feel with different questionnaires.
