Knee stiffness after ACL surgery may slow muscle recovery
NCT ID NCT06863610
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether having trouble fully straightening the knee after ACL reconstruction affects how well the thigh muscle (quadriceps) regains strength. Researchers will compare two groups of 30 patients: those with a knee extension deficit greater than 5 degrees and those without. The goal is to better understand how early range-of-motion problems impact recovery and knee function.
