New knee brace combo aims to ease arthritis pain without surgery

NCT ID NCT07562646

First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special two-bar knee brace, combined with exercises that don't put weight on the knee, can reduce pain and stiffness better than a standard brace in people with knee osteoarthritis. 18 adults aged 45-60 with moderate knee arthritis will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. Both groups will do the same exercises, but one group will wear the special brace. The study will measure pain, stiffness, and satisfaction after 6 weeks of treatment.
