First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study looked at 132 people having knee arthroscopy (for ACL or meniscus tears) to compare two types of nerve blocks: one in the thigh (femoral) and one near the knee (adductor canal). The goal was to see which block better preserves leg muscle strength while still controlling pain after surgery. Results help doctors choose the best option for faster recovery.
