Knee pain relief showdown: blood injections vs. pain gel vs. exercise
NCT ID NCT05877027
Summary
This study compared three common treatments for knee osteoarthritis (wear-and-tear arthritis) to see which works best. Researchers tested platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, topical diclofenac gel, and a guided exercise program in 82 adults with moderate knee arthritis. The goal was to measure which treatment most effectively reduced pain and improved knee function and quality of life over time.
