One shot for knee pain? study tests simpler arthritis treatment

NCT ID NCT07352540

Summary

This study is testing whether a single injection into the knee is just as good as three weekly injections for relieving arthritis pain and improving movement. It will involve 46 adults with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will compare pain levels, knee function, and safety over six months to see if the simpler, one-time treatment works as well.
