Hands-On therapy tested for aching knees
NCT ID NCT05577403
Summary
This study tested whether a specific hands-on physical therapy technique, when added to simple strength exercises, could better reduce pain and stiffness for people with knee arthritis. Fifty adults with knee osteoarthritis received either the real therapy or a sham (pretend) version alongside exercises for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain, knee strength, and how easily people could perform daily activities.
