Scientists measure muscle oxygen to understand knee arthritis
NCT ID NCT07471204
Summary
This study aims to understand how knee osteoarthritis affects muscle oxygen levels during and after exercise. Researchers will compare 34 people with knee arthritis to healthy individuals by measuring oxygen in their thigh muscles at rest, during mini-squats, and during recovery. The goal is to learn about the muscle changes in arthritis to potentially inform future rehabilitation approaches.
