First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether kinesiological taping (a special stretchy tape) or foot massage can help women who had a C-section feel less pain, tiredness, and mood problems. 97 new mothers were split into three groups: one got taping, one got foot massage, and one got standard care. Researchers measured pain, fatigue, and mood at several hours after surgery to see if these simple treatments made a difference.
