NCT ID NCT07253766

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested if kinesiologic taping (a special elastic tape placed on the knee) can reduce pain, improve movement, and lessen fear of moving in people with knee rheumatoid arthritis. Thirty adults aged 45-60 were split into two groups: one got the real tape, the other got a fake tape without any therapeutic effect. The tape was applied weekly for 4 weeks. The goal was to see if the real tape works better than the fake one for these symptoms.
