NCT ID NCT07438431

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looked at two methods—kinesio taping and the Graston technique—to see which helps more with delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), the pain and stiffness felt 1-3 days after intense exercise. Twenty healthy adults were split into three groups: one got taping, one got the Graston technique (a scraping massage), and one got no treatment. Researchers measured muscle oxygen levels, strength, reaction time, and pain before and 48 hours after exercise to compare results.
