First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding posture-oriented kinesio taping to standard rehabilitation helps stroke survivors improve their mobility, balance, coordination, and ability to perform daily tasks. About 60 adults who had a stroke at least one month ago and have trouble with posture or trunk control will be randomly assigned to receive either the tape plus rehab or rehab alone. Researchers will measure changes in trunk control, balance, and daily function to see if the tape provides extra benefit.
