Tape it away: new study tests kinesio taping for elbow nerve pain

NCT ID NCT07001111

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding kinesio taping to exercise can reduce pain and improve symptoms in people with cubital tunnel syndrome, a condition where the ulnar nerve in the elbow is compressed. About 36 adults will be split into three groups: exercise only, exercise with real taping, or exercise with fake taping. Researchers will check pain levels and nerve size at 1 and 3 months after a 3-week treatment period.
