No-Drill cavity treatments for kids put to the test
NCT ID NCT07447583
Summary
This study compared three different methods for treating cavities in children's baby molars over 18 months. Researchers tested two less invasive options—a special crown placed without drilling and a silver fluoride liquid—against the traditional 'drill-and-fill' approach. They wanted to see which method worked best long-term and which caused less pain and was more acceptable to children and parents.
