Gentle vs. drill: which cavity fix works best for kids?

NCT ID NCT07447583

Summary

This study compared three methods for treating cavities in children's baby molars over 18 months. It involved 60 healthy children, each receiving three different treatments on separate teeth: a gentle Hall crown, a silver fluoride paint, and a traditional drill-and-fill. Researchers wanted to see if the gentler methods worked as well as the traditional filling and caused less pain and anxiety for the child.
