First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how families decide on antibiotic use for children aged 4-17 with common infections like urinary tract infections, strep throat, and skin infections. Researchers will also test if a Garmin smartwatch and a phone app are easy and acceptable for tracking symptoms at home. About 300 children from the Royal Children's Hospital Emergency Department will take part.
