Scientists dig deep into kidney rejection to predict who will recover

NCT ID NCT06438107

First seen Dec 30, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at 24 kidney transplant patients to figure out why some rejections keep coming back while others get better with treatment. Researchers will examine tiny pieces of the kidney (biopsies) and blood samples to see which cells and genes are involved. The goal is to better predict and understand rejection, not to test a new treatment.
