Scientists map the cellular battlefield of failing kidney transplants
NCT ID NCT06438107
Summary
This study aims to understand why some kidney transplants are rejected by the body's immune system. Researchers will collect and analyze kidney tissue and blood samples from 24 transplant patients over five years to create detailed maps of the cells involved in rejection. The goal is to learn what makes some rejections persistent and others treatable, which could lead to better future treatments.
