First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study is testing a blood test that looks at gene activity to predict the risk of kidney transplant rejection. What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this blood test could help doctors identify kidney transplant patients at high risk for rejection early, allowing for personalized treatment.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. The test may not be accurate enough for widespread use, and results may not apply to all patients.
