New fixation method speeds up kidney stone removal

Summary
This study tested a new way to hold kidney stones in place during a minimally invasive surgery called mini-PCNL. The goal was to break the stones faster and more completely. 45 adults with kidney stones smaller than 4 cm took part. The approach appears safe and may shorten surgery time.
