New study tests less invasive surgery for large kidney stones
NCT ID NCT07322471
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods for removing large kidney stones called staghorn stones. Researchers want to see if a less invasive procedure called flexible ureteroscopy works as well as the current standard surgery, which has more risks. The trial will involve 138 adults with these large stones to measure which approach removes stones better and causes fewer complications.
