Summary
This study compared two minimally invasive surgeries for removing kidney stones that are 2-4 cm in size: flexible ureteroscopy (through the urinary tract) and percutaneous nephroscopy (through a small cut in the back). The goal was to see which method clears stones more completely and has fewer complications. The trial involved 224 adults aged 18-70 with kidney stones, but it was terminated early.
