First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at three different methods for removing kidney stones up to 2 centimeters in size. 90 adults with a single kidney stone were randomly assigned to one of three groups: surgery with a traditional tube, surgery with a suction tube, or surgery without any tube. The goal was to see which method cleared stones best and had the fewest complications. The results help doctors choose the safest and most effective technique.
