13,000 kids to get kidney check: can early screening save lives?

Summary
This study aims to find kidney disease early in children by using simple urine and ultrasound tests. About 13,000 children from China will be screened and followed for 3-6 years. Those with abnormal results will be referred for further care. The goal is to build a system to predict and prevent kidney problems in kids.
