First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests if cilastatin protects the kidneys as well as the standard drug thiosulfate in women with ovarian cancer who receive heated chemotherapy during surgery. About 90 women aged 18-75 will be randomly assigned to one of the two drugs. The main goal is to see how many patients develop kidney failure within a week after treatment.
