New study aims to catch kidney damage early in cystic fibrosis patients

Summary

This study aims to understand why people with cystic fibrosis (CF) often develop kidney disease. Researchers will collect blood and urine samples from 260 participants with CF, both during routine clinic visits and during hospital stays for lung flare-ups. They will look for early warning signs of kidney damage to help prevent permanent harm.
