Heart and kidney hope for Non-Diabetic patients in major drug trial
NCT ID NCT07344922
Summary
This study tested whether the drug dapagliflozin could help adults with chronic kidney disease who do not have diabetes. Researchers compared the drug to a placebo pill over 12 months to see if it could slow kidney decline, improve anemia, and support heart health. About 100 participants took their usual medications alongside either the study drug or the placebo.
