Scientists test drugs in lab to stop kidney disease from coming back
NCT ID NCT05428605
Summary
This was a laboratory study, not a treatment trial in people. Researchers took blood samples from 20 patients with a recurring autoimmune kidney disease called membranous nephropathy. They tested how several different existing drugs affected immune cells in a lab dish, aiming to find which ones might best help prevent the disease from returning.
