Summary
This study aimed to understand the link between chronic kidney disease and future heart problems in older adults. Researchers measured blood vessel health in 101 participants aged 65+ with kidney disease who were not on dialysis. They used non-invasive tests like neck ultrasounds and blood draws to look for early signs of blood vessel damage and tracked participants' health for over two years.
