Mayo clinic tests First-Ever combined kidney and bladder transplants

Summary
This early-phase study at Mayo Clinic tests whether it is possible to transplant a kidney and a bladder together in people who have both kidney failure and a damaged or missing bladder. Up to 30 participants aged 1 to 60 will receive the combined transplant and be followed for up to 4 years. The goal is to see if the new bladder works well and improves quality of life, while monitoring for side effects.
