NCT ID NCT06418074
First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested whether taking ketone supplements for five days could improve kidney function and blood pressure in 20 people with high blood pressure. Participants received either the ketone drink or a placebo, then switched after a break. Researchers measured blood pressure, kidney blood flow, and hormone levels. The goal was to learn more about how ketones affect the body, not to provide a treatment.
