Pain relief showdown: ketamine vs. lidocaine after gallbladder surgery

Summary
This study tested whether ketamine or lidocaine works better for pain after gallbladder removal. 76 adults were split into two groups and received one of the drugs during surgery. Pain levels were checked at several times over 24 hours to see which provided better relief.
