Summary

This study tested whether ketamine or lidocaine works better for pain after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. 76 adults were randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs during surgery. Pain levels were checked at 1, 6, 12, and 24 hours after the operation. The goal was to find a better way to manage pain after this common surgery.
