Summary
This early-stage study explores whether combining ketamine injections with talk therapy is a safe and acceptable way to treat moderate-to-severe methamphetamine use disorder. Seventeen publicly insured adults who are living with or at risk for HIV will receive three monitored doses of ketamine along with therapy sessions. Researchers will track how many people join and complete the program, and whether they find the treatment acceptable.
