Summary
This study looks at whether giving ketamine during surgery can help reduce chronic nerve pain in people with brachial plexus injuries (nerve damage in the shoulder/arm). About 100 adults scheduled for nerve repair surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either ketamine or a placebo during the procedure. Researchers will track pain scores and medication use for one week after surgery to see if ketamine makes a difference.
