NCT ID NCT06231563

First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether a single dose of intravenous ketamine can quickly improve depression in 80 veterans with Parkinson's disease. Depression is common in Parkinson's and hard to treat, but ketamine has shown promise for other types of depression. The researchers will also measure changes in brain flexibility and inflammation to understand how ketamine works in Parkinson's.
