Summary
This study tests a program called KEEP Connecting Kin for relatives or close family friends raising children outside the child welfare system. About 192 caregivers in Oregon will be randomly assigned to receive the program right away or after a wait. The program provides in-home parenting support and peer connections to improve children's behavior, reduce caregiver stress, and prevent the need for child welfare involvement.
