Trippy glasses could soothe Kids' dental fears

NCT ID NCT07595731

First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether special kaleidoscope glasses can reduce pain and anxiety in children aged 4-6 during dental pulp therapy (a baby root canal). The glasses show colorful, changing patterns to distract the child. Researchers will compare the glasses to the Tell-Show-Do method, where the dentist explains and shows tools before using them. The goal is to make dental visits easier and more comfortable for children.
