Natural compound boosts dental implant success in small trial
NCT ID NCT07156799
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tested a gel made from kaempferol, a natural plant compound, placed at the implant site during dental implant surgery in 30 patients. The kaempferol group showed higher bone-building activity in the first weeks and greater bone density after 6 months compared to the control group. These results suggest kaempferol may help implants heal faster and stronger, potentially allowing earlier use of the implant.
