First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested a gel made from kaempferol, a natural plant compound, placed around dental implants during surgery in 30 patients. The kaempferol group showed better early bone healing markers and a greater increase in bone density after 6 months compared to a placebo. These results suggest kaempferol could help implants integrate faster and more securely, potentially allowing earlier loading.
