Natural gel boosts bone healing for dental implants
NCT ID NCT07156799
Summary
This study tested whether applying a gel made from a natural plant compound called kaempferol during dental implant surgery could help the surrounding bone heal better and faster. In 30 patients, those who received the gel showed signs of faster bone activity in the first few weeks and had denser, stronger bone around the implant after six months compared to those who did not get the gel. The results suggest this gel could be a helpful addition to improve healing, especially for patients with weaker bone.
