New study aims to close cancer care gap for indigenous americans

Summary

This study looks at genetic changes in cancer cells from Indigenous American people in the Southwest. The goal is to learn more about these cancers to improve screening and treatment. Researchers will enroll 300 adults who have or had cancer and identify as Indigenous American. Participants will get their genetic results and help reduce health disparities.
