Summary
This study compares two standard surgical approaches for treating infected hip or knee replacements. Researchers want to know if performing one cleaning surgery or planning for two cleaning surgeries works better to save the artificial joint. All participants will receive long-term antibiotic treatment after surgery to keep the infection under control.
