Inclusion Criteria: * Diagnosis of schizophrenia * Candidate for maintenance schizophrenia treatment * Willing to initiate and continue risperidone or olanzapine therapy for the duration of the study Exclusion Criteria: * Any serious medical problems other than schizophrenia that would interfere with the study
