Summary
This study tested a group-based program called Jenga Dada ("Build a Woman Up" in Swahili) for women aged 15 and older in Kenya. The program aimed to help women prevent intimate partner violence and unintended pregnancy by boosting their confidence to use family planning, cope with economic abuse, and seek support. Researchers worked with 238 women from community economic groups and measured changes in self-efficacy over 4 months.
