First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested two physical therapy techniques—Kaltenborn mobilization and active release—to help head and neck cancer survivors who developed jaw tightness and pain (trismus) from radiation therapy. 115 adults who finished radiation at least 6 months earlier took part. The goal was to see which method better improves mouth opening and reduces jaw pain.
