New jaw tracker could speed up TMJ diagnosis

Summary
This study checks if a jaw motion analyzer (JMA) can accurately diagnose temporomandibular disorders (TMD), which cause jaw pain and clicking. About 29 adults with chronic orofacial pain will get a JMA test, then standard exams and an MRI to compare results. If the JMA proves accurate, it could offer a faster, non-invasive way to diagnose TMD.
