First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding breathing exercises or back exercises to standard jaw muscle therapy helps people with jaw joint dysfunction. 63 adults with jaw pain and muscle issues were split into three groups: one did only jaw and neck exercises, another added breathing exercises, and the third added back exercises. The goal was to see which approach best reduced pain, improved jaw function, and boosted mood and sleep quality over 8 weeks.
